On March 5, the Youth League Committee of SEPCOIII organized young employees to carry out a series of volunteer service activities to learn from Lei Feng’s civilization practice in the new era, and representatives of young volunteers from the company’s headquarters and branches stationed in Qingzi participated in the activities.

At the beginning of the event, the "Iron Army" volunteer service team of the company first participated in the launching ceremony of "Learn from Lei Feng, be a pioneer, and I will work with the city to promote" the new era civilization practice volunteer service in Qingdao, and was awarded the title of "Qingdao Laoshan District New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Team". After the ceremony, the young volunteers carried out voluntary service activities such as civilized traffic persuasion and environmental protection around the Shilaoren Bathing Beach in Qingdao, demonstrating the good spirit of the young volunteers of the power construction and the social responsibility of the youth stationed in the central enterprises in Qingdao. 

This year marks the 60th anniversary of Mao Zedong and other older revolutionaries’ inscription for Comrade Lei Feng. March 5 is the 60th anniversary of learning from Lei Feng and the 24th "China Youth Volunteer Service Day". Over the past 60 years, Lei Feng’s name has become a household name. Lei Feng’s deeds have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Lei Feng’s spirit has been passed down from generation to generation, inspiring generations of people to be loyal to the Party, dedicate to the motherland and serve the people.In the next step, the Youth League Committee of the company will integrate the activities of learning from Lei Feng into the daily life and make it a reality, and promote the company’s youth to put their lofty ideals into their own work, and work hard and down-to-earth, so that Lei Feng’s spirit will shine more brightly on the new journey of the company’s development.
